Charlie-Ann has become a very special part of our lives over the past few years. When she was 6 months old, she was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) - a muscular disorder that prevents the growth of healthy muscles. Shortly after reading about Charlie-Ann, we captured a session for her family not knowing whether there would be more sessions to come. But what amazes us about this little girl is not her challenges, but her shiny spirit. We recently created this short film for her family that shows us just how resilient she is, and how after everything she has gone through, she continues to be so courageous. We think she's incredibly lucky to have a dedicated and conscious mom like Cherie.
We hope you enjoy seeing them connect the way we do - they bring so much to those fortunate enough to be around them. There's no doubt that Charlie-Ann is a very special little girl...
